Ka Huna Nui program from NEXUS magazine
If you're interested in getting the Ka Huna Nui™ program recently advertised in NEXUS magazine, then please let me know!
We ended up getting far more orders than we ever anticipated ... and we're trying to keep up with the demand, but ... so far ... the demand greatly out-weighs the supply!
Ultimately that's a positive sign, but our old average of "24 hour turn-around" to get your package in the mail to you was severely affected by the massive response to the advertisement in NEXUS.
Huna Research Inc. is a small, not-for-profit, volunteer organization, and so we had to "out-source" our shipping to a "fulfillment company" in the business of making sure your orders are shipped out.
I am negotiating with some better-known fulfillment companies who have been in business for a long time and can provide the best service possible for you.
The current estimate is that we can have the system in place for producing and shipping DVDs and other products in early November.
I do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience if you're wanting to order your DVD right away, and we will put up special announcements here on this page for you as things are progressing.
You may want to go ahead and "bookmark" this page so you can keep checking back in with us more easily.
We also have the Huna Ohana Forum where you can begin learning these concepts free-of-charge today!
I recommend you check-out the following web pages ...
And keep on studying!

What is Huna all about?
That is a question I probably ask myself every single day.
I asked myself many times during the initiation experiences throughout my 40+ years learning Huna,* it's a question you've undoubtedly asked yourself, and so has everybody who's forged-on along the pathway of self-discovery to recognize Huna.
The language and mystical concepts are equally bewildering to the beginner.
So people ask, "What is Huna all about?"
After you've become familiar with the techniques and rituals, and you've learned something of the basic practices and their meanings for you, you might still discover that Huna as a whole ... apart from the mystery of any one part or detail ... can appear to be something almost too complex to grasp.
Even though you know Huna is simple and profound.
When you've become accustomed to the teachings of Huna and no longer have that first sense of "strangeness," you might occasionally or suddenly discover something totally new you've never known before ... perhaps something of the antiquity, the universality, or the profound power of Huna.
For all your familiarity with Huna, you may find yourself "in the dark" about Huna in its entirety.
- What is Huna?
- What can Huna do?
- How did it come into being?
- What are it's central and permanent teachings?
When you learn Huna, you become heir to a rich tradition.
Books and classes provide access to something that was NOT put together in a day, and it will not profit you very much if you make no effort to acquire the at least a portion of the sacred entitlements you've inherited.
You must learn something of the history of Huna.
... of its achievements.
... of its outstanding teachers and what they taught.
... of its ideas, principles, and spirit.
Reading alone cannot, and no classroom could, confer this modern knowledge and ancient wisdom in its entirety.
You must "strive" for yourself to make your own inexhaustible riches out of Huna. You must discover for yourself its higher purposes because you are the most valuable member of this world-wide Huna Ohana.
There is no "authorized" interpretation of Huna.
You will not find a ready-made Huna creed waiting for you or any ready-made explanation of our practices.
- You must think-it-through for yourself.
- You must feel-it-through for yourself.
- You must see-it-through for yourself.
Huna is very simple.
It may not be "easy" going-it-all-alone. It is certainly not easy to do without guidance and assistance, and THAT is why the Huna Ohana is here for you.
Our "sacred family" is a world-wide gathering. Over the past 65 years it required untold sums of money and human effort to sustain and manage such a society. Now, with the blessing of 'Io and the world-wide-web, we are beginning a New Era for the Huna Research Associates.
You are a part of this and important story.
Tell your part of this story.
And keep studying!

Huna Practitioner Training
Certified Huna Practitioner Mark Perkins is going to be combing-through the DVDs, making notes of and "capturing" clips that are the most powerful.
We'll post 'em ASAP.
The ones I remember really wanting are when I was explaining the functions of the "etheric body" ... as opposed to the Astral body ... in conjunction with the Five Elements and actually demonstrating the memory function by taking Paul's etheric body out ... so he couldn't remember anything, but right as soon as I put it back in he began remembering things ...
... it was beautiful, and a great example of putting theory into practice, and actually demonstrating for-the-eye the undeniable truth of Huna practice.
Look.
As you've probably noticed over-the-years, most people only "talk" about these concepts instead of actually showing them in real life.
This is science ... from the original institute of science and spirituality.
One other demonstration I remember wanting ... I think it was just a couple of minutes later .... is when Gerry "thought" he couldn't feel energy until we pointed out that he already WAS feeling it, and everyone else could easily see him feeling it.
Then, right as-soon-as his conscious mind "linked-up" to the unconscious perception, he "got it" and then quickly began discovering the old knee injuries and determining the relative severity of them ... all within just a few seconds.
Powerful stuff you just can't put into words!
But it's ON DVD!
Nice!
All-this-and-more coming up!
I Ke La'a Kea!

Huna Practitioner Certification Training NOW on DVD

Get the complete 7-day
HUNA practitioner's
certification
training ... Home-Study Course NOW on DVD
thru Monday, August 9th, 2010
Aloha y'all!
These truly are historic times, and you might be surprised when you discover that you play a key role in making the times we're living in so special.
You're going to be learning more about all the important specifics as your Ohana rapidly expands to surround the globe with our Lei of Aloha. (1)
Now you can do your part.
You are unique for many reasons, and right now, the most important one you want to consider is how you want to take advantage of your historic opportunity to be among the very FIRST people in the world to get the ALL NEW information, learnings, training, and mystical experiences available to you FOR the VERY FIRST TIME EVER in Western HISTORY (2)
I'm not quite sure exactly how to explain the importance of this event.
... my Elders began preparing me for this before I was old enough to go to kindergarten. It didn't make any sense to me then, and it's still quite mystic in nature.
But ... deep-down in my gut (na'au) where it really counts ... I absolutely KNOW it IS true, and THAT is the only thing I need to give this totally new and improved system (returning to the real, most pure, and un-contaminated of the Ancient Hawaiian Mystical practices yet revealed) my very best efforts.
100%
I spent the last month getting myself ready for you, simply because you're the most important key
So I'm gathering as much input as possible on the best way to get this information out to the general public who needs it so much more NOW ... more than ever.
Our "mother earth" is bleeding in the Gulf of Mexico and panic is spreading accross the world in preparation for the energy shift everyone can FEEL is coming in 2012.
Don't panic!
... you know how to relax and see things from higher perspectives. (3)
You really need to learn the New Ka Huna Nui system, and you have two choices on how you want to proceed.
1. Do it the easy way ... the FEE paradigm from Western Culture.
... just get the DVDs and you can accomplish MORE in the next 12 months than you ever have in any revious 12 years!
Even though HRI is not-for-profit, we're still paying the production costs for making these DVDs available to you. Professionally recording, editing, and producing DVDs is pretty expensive.
If you can afford to get the DVDs, then you know you can do that today and get 365 days to apply what you learn.
Keep them, and your donation is tax-deductible also!
... OR ...
2. Do it the hard way. The FREE paradigm from my Ancient Ohana where you must "serve to deserve" and you can learn everything from the DVDs in approximately 5 to 20 years, depending on your level of dedication.
You choose your path!
Either way, it is vitally important you begin today.
Now, if you're wanting to begin the home-study program on DVD program, it's important you understand this is the very first time that anything even close to this program was EVER released on home video.
So I need to make sure you're serious, honest, and honorable.
If you're not, then go away now, before boomerang karma gets you.
Because it WILL.
You WILL get what you deserve.
Now, if you're pure of heart, then proceed ...
The people at Straightforward, Inc. have completed the All-New and professionally-produced the Complete 7-day Huna Practitioner Certification Training DVDs.
Get yours NOW ...
"Why?" ...
Because this special offer is limited. We ARE going to be releasing this package to the general public this summer for $895 for all 13 dvds ... but, because your a member of our on-line Huna Ohana, we decided we're practically "giving-them-away" over through
So this is your opportunity to get this once-in-a-life-time offer ...
Look ...
... if you'd been there, you'd already know what I'm talking about!
But you don't have to pay attention to me ...
... just listen to what everybody else is saying ...
SAMPLE (emphasis added)
Vince,
I received my copy of the Huna Practitioner Training DVDs a few days ago. It is absolutely wonderful. The notes that Carol took are such a bonus!
I knew there were times I had zoned out or had become so overloaded that I was missing important points. The DVDs and study notes have filled in all the blanks plus they gave me an eagle eye perspective of what was happening in the room.
Anyone who is thinking about ordering the training DVDs, go for it! You are getting the convention at less than a fifth of the cost than if you had attended in person.
It's fun to watch the changes we went through, see how the auras light up when practicing the different breathing rhythms, and watching a group of individuals become family.
Thanks Vince!

Mana Generator and more ...
| Aloha y'all, I've been experimenting with the Kiho or Kiho-tumu image ... .. see http://huna.blogspot.com/2010/05/kiho-tumu.html In Hawaiian it would be pronounced 'Io. Got it? It is very strong energy! Example: I simply took the color symbol and pasted it on my bathroom mirror ... that way I see it every morning first-thing-in-the morning. ... and I quickly, almost immediately felt charged-up-and-ready-to-take-on-the-day. Pretty cool. This symbol comes through the Kumulipo, and it has that "atomic" energy of the creation of the universe. How's THAT for a "quick pick-me-up?" ... and there's no jittery after-effect :-> Find-out for yourself! Enjoy! --Vince Get your Kiho-tumu mug! |
Real Overcoming
| Aloha y'all, A couple of years ago I put a type-o here on the Huna blog that put the entire Kame'ekua 'Ohana in a uproar. "Oooops!" The Inoa Kupuna is very significant in traditional Hawaiin clulture, and I accidentally listed mine as Kame'ekua when, as Pali quickly reminded me, it should be Paia-Kapela- I always think of Kame'ekua because of Makaweliweli in the great book, Tales from the Night Rainbow. Anyway ... that was my mistake and I corrected it ASAP. However, I am so glad I put the wrong name up because doing so also got me back in contact with Pali Jae Lee .. ... so we were able to Ho'oponopono just before she died She and I ended up writing each other pretty regularly during her last couple of weeks on this plane. Once again ... every cloud has a "silver lining!" Every single one! So you might want to seek-out the positive learning experience from life experiences ... even when it was probably NOT necessarily "fun" at the time! Even among Huna practitioners ... ... because we're human. We might face adversity from-time-to-time. During the changing-of-the-millennium period we had a pretend "Dr. Waha 'Awa" who managed to frighten-off a bunch of people ... ... adversity also reveals people's true character. So, even when you finally realize you have a serious "frienemy" ... keep in mind what Nietche said ... "Was mich nicht umbringt, macht mich starker." Because every obstacle you overcome improves your skill-set. That's real overcoming. You might want to look for more quotes about overcoming adversity and the adversity qoutient Dad and I grew that much closer back when the "fat guy" attempted a coupe de' etat. As through all life lessons ... you grow that much stronger from all the valuable lessons you received. We're now working with institutions like The University of Hawaii and The Library of Congress instead of the "pretenders" of the late 1990s. It is very nice! There's always something for you to look forward to. So keep that in mind, and remember how powerful you really are! ... and may your 'aumakua take care of you! Kiho-tumu
Aloha y'all,
We're going to be performing special Ancient Hawaiian Initiation Ceremonies that have not been given since before 1777.
I got the "go ahead" in 2008 to "prepare the path," and we finally have six people who are ready to receive the first ceremony.
Depending on how they handle the responsibility, we can then make them available to more and more people.
Exciting stuff, really.

Mahalo Pau
Mahalo PauLiteral Translation, "Thank you, I'm done."
There's more meaning than meets-the-eye in this common Hawaiian phrase which, properly pronounced, should hit the funny bone the way "forgettaboutit" does in "Donnie Brasco" or "Mickey Blue Eyes."
But, what of the esoteric meanings that may now be revealed?
There's more.
Practically everybody is familiar with "mahalo," meaning "thank you" ... even though the deeper meaning is so much more!
Mahalo has many deeper meaning important for your complete understaning.

Divine Dissatisfaction
| --- On Sun, 4/25/10, Sunny wrote: > I have been watching the DVD's I got at the convention & the more I > see the more I feel What the bleep do I know. Aloha Sunny, It's a good feeling, isn't it? ... I mean the mystery of it all ... ya gotta love it! > I am in awe & amazed at all that is out there & in here !!! Yes indeed. I've given this phenomenon the perhaps ironic name of "divine dissatisfaction" in the past eight years or so, and I was again pleasantly surprised ... as I was preparing this reply to your post ... by discovering the great Martha Graham's quotation referring to the same phenomenon by the very same name. ... maybe "great minds do think alike?" Anyway. Check this out ... "There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. If you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not yours to determine how good it is; nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is ever pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction; a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others." --- Martha Graham to Agnes De Mille Pau! Now THAT's the "cure" for perfectionism! Think about it ... ... because THIS is also your answer for your question about sending mana to your Aumakua daily instead of doing the Ha Rite. "Chicken?" ;-> You are right, though ... anything that comes from the limited perspective of your unihipili and your uhane "might" be less-than-perfectly-aligned-or-in-balance with your "highest good." ... that's why life is a learning experience for your spiritual evolution. So you do NOT want to use "perfection" as an excuse to duck your responsibilities as uhane! You really are divinity expressing into this material world, right? ... so you do your part, and make a decision. You decide. ... that's what uhane is supposed to do. Then let Aumakua do its job. Remember "mahalo pau." That's it. Now. You're a great person with plenty of positive living experience and so much that you're going to be contributing in this world, so choose accordingly, because you ARE powerful and you have the naturally-born right to perform your life's purpose! So you choose! --Vince PS - For anyone who thinks you should always be satisfied with your work or your level of understanding ... by understanding the concept of Divine Dissatisfaction, you might see it's a good thing.

What is Huna?
and How It Really Came About
Many people mistakenly think Huna was the religion in Hawaii or the "teachings of the Ancient Hawaiian people," but Huna actually refers to the Metaphysical Theory developed by Max Freedom Long, along with a number of respected Kahunas, which was primarily based on the Ancient Hawaiian Psychological, Religious, and Philosophical traditions of the Kahuna.
Huna does not refer to any specific practice ... like Hoomana, Hooponopono, Hula, Chanting, or Lomi Lomi ... but instead refers to the underlying assumptions upon which these individual Hawaiian practices are based.
In fact, over 2600 separate Hawaiian systems have been discovered and researched. And, even though they differ from island to island, from village to village, from clan to clan, from family to family, and from individual to individual, there are certain key principles upon which they do agree.
It is these most fundamental and universal principles, upon which all traditional Hawaiian Healing methodologies are based, that comprise Huna.
Huna may be called a philosophy or a system of psychology because it contains elements of philosophy, science, and religion.
During the last century investigations were made into native magic in Africa, India and other parts of the world. Spiritualistic phenomena have been certified as genuine and studied by recognized scientists. Spiritual and psychic phenomena have been generally verified and are gaining wider acceptance in the Western World.
But there was never any definite basic system, philosophy, theory, or psychological-religious science which would explain, even in the most general terms, the phenomena of the various fields until the publication of Recovering the Ancient Magic by Max Freedom Long.
He gave this general theory the name Huna.
Around 1880, in Hawaii, an investigation began which, after seventy years of research, produced a general theory that promises to provide answers for a host of puzzling questions.
This investigation was begun by Dr. William Tufts Brigham, long-time curator of the Bishop Museum in Honolulu.
In Hawaii there were, up to about 1900, many Kahunas, or native priests, who, although outlawed, worked among their fellow Hawaiians as healers or practitioners of the dreaded "death prayers." Some fire-walked over lava flows, a few demonstrated instant healing, and the young Dr. Brigham was fortunate enough to observe and study a case in which a boy, dead from drowning for sixteen hours, was brought back to life through a use of "native magic. "
Dr. Brigham came to the conclusion that, behind these and similar activities, there must be a single basic scientific system which explained all such "magical" phenomena.
He postulated ...
1. There must be some form or entity or consciousness which the Kahunas were able to contact through ceremony or prayer.
2. This "unidentified consciousness" could use an unidentified force or energy in such a way as to control temperature in fire-walking or make the changes in physical matter necessary to produce instant healing.
These conclusions pointed inevitably to a system of Metaphysics, so it was necessary to include research into the Psychic Sciences because this secret and mysterious system found working magic in Hawaii was not a matter of empty words and theorizing because it clearly worked.
In due time it was possible to explain a part of the basic theory and its methods of application. Because of the major contribution made by Hawaiian Kahuna ("keepers of the secret") preserving and maintaining these ancient practices, Max Freedom Long gave this new theory the name Huna.
Max continued doing research along with the Huna Research Associates until his death in 1971, when he bequeathed the organization to Dr. E. Otha Wingo, then professor at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, where the Huna Research Associates are continuing the coordination of teaching, research, and practice of Huna today.
So why the confusion?
In the mid-1960's some authors, recognizing the popularity of Max Freedom Long's Huna, began promoting themselves as Kahuna. Other people began promoting a variety of Hawaiian and pseudo-Hawaiian belief systems by saying they were "the real huna" even though the word previously referred only to Max's work.
This trend is still going on today, but everyone using the word Huna got it from studying Max Freedom Long.
His most popular book was The Secret Science Behind Miracles, which is totally incomplete because he wrote it long before establishing the Huna Research Associates. But Max was fortunately able to produce more than 50 years of painstaking research himself, and the vast majority of it was never published in books.
So a deeper understanding of Huna and complete, workable system for producing miracles was passed on through the Huna Research Associates, who quietly continue studying and perfecting the system through a world-wide network, meeting annually to share, teach, learn, and explore new territories.

Mana-o for January
How you spend the first few weeks of the year can set the tone how that year goes for you ... so I've obviously been focusing on my health, I've been making sure to snuggle-up to Sarah a little more every night, and I've been spending more time with my parents.
I hope you're doing the same ...
... focus your attention on what's most important to you!

Bridging the Gap
and more than 20 hours of
training on DVD ... only
Now only $297 thru September 29th
The following information is for the Bridging The Gap Collection recorded at a Huna World Convention. At this particular convention were 15 very special presenters, all with valuable perspectives on the different aspects of Huna and its use and increase in popularity. This collection is a must for the history buff who wants to know about Huna and the world and the individual you wants to understand for to apply to himself and others. I came across a set of notes and backgrounds and found that just reading through them was enough to make me watch each video intently. You may find the same thing. The following is from that set of notes, giving a short bio and some points from each presenter. Enjoy.
DR. E. OTHA WINGO - Cape Girardeau, MO
Dr. Wingo is the man Max Freedom Long personally chose to carry on his work. A Retired Minister, Master Teacher, Professor Emeritus of Classical Languages, Missouri District Deputy Grand Masonic Lecturer, and Director of Research at Huna International Headquarters for over 33 years, Dr. Wingo has personally taught more than 20,000 students these ancient secrets ... not only how the Kahuna instantly healed the sick, saw into the future, and changed the future for the better... he has developed a simple, workable system to teach people to do-it-themselves!
THE INITIATION OF YEHOSHUA
Ritual and Meaningful Drama
4th century BC, Aristotle said that the best way to tell the truth is with a lie. In his Poetics, Aristotle described tragedy as a representative of action that requires serious attention. He said
that poetry was more important than history. Myths should be taken seriously; but not literally. And this is just as true of biblical myths as of all other myths.
70 AD Paul lived and wrote.
90 AD Destruction of Jerusalem
367 AD Gospels were written
There were 5,000 manuscripts of the Gospels and none were written before the 4th century AD. Gospels were selected from the many versions available and the rest were rejected as inauthentic.
Constantine made a death bed conversion to Christianity. He worshipped Sol Invictus, The Invincible Sun. This is the religion that he imposed on the Roman Empire.
May 20, 325 Council of Nicea. Jeshua was voted to be a divine being. The vote was 218 – 2. Previously, Jeshua lost the vote. All voting against his godhead were ejected from the council and they voted again, this time enthroning Jeshua as a god.
Originally, Christians meant the "Good People".
Jesus was known as the Nazarene and a village of Nazareth was invented so that the word could mean that Jesus was from this village.
The earliest figure of Jesus was the one in which he was holding a lamb. It wasn't until 680 AD that this figure was changed to a man hanging on a cross.
Katherine Emerich was a German nun in the 1800's who had visions describing the crucifixion of this so called Christ. It was this rendition of the story upon which Mel Gibson's movie was based. Prior to this movie, the church refused to beautify Katherine Emerich as they could not ascertain whose visions these were, the woman or her chronicler. Since the movie, the political situation has been such that she has been approved for beatification, with the ceremony to be held on October 3, 2004, which is the last step before sanctification as a saint.
LITERAL READING OF THE TESTAMENTS REVEALS
The Resurrection is best understood as a drama of initiation. If translated as a ritual, we will find much truth in this.
The "Hurtless Life" is indicated by the phrase "take up your cross and follow". Keep the path open for the high self and send it Mana. In Huna the resurrection is to open the path anew.
Only the lesser man is indicated in the word "son". Give us back the loving father, the high self mother-father of Huna.
DR. GREG BOYD - Cape Girardeau, MO
Greg is a self-proclaimed "shop teacher" at South Eastern Missouri University. He is a silly man and the UNDISPUTED MASTER of Ceremonies. Greg keeps everything running smoothly. Whether it's running a convention or maintaining the office building, Greg is an all-round "Mr. Fix-It."
LORETTA GRABOWSKI - Lake George, NY
A teacher of numerous metaphysical, spiritual, and psychic subjects, including Huna, Loretta is a Certified Huna Teacher and ordained Huna Practitioner. She is a member of the Board of Directors.
Loretta gave us an account of her experience climbing a mountain in Hawaii with faith

DIANA STONE AND DUANE HENKLE
DUANE HENKLE - Santa Fe, NM
Duane Henkle lived the "success paradigm" for many years as a husband, father, suburbanite, weekend golfer, Scout leader, church leader and corporate manager.
Then, a powerful vision revealed his true purpose in life: a "change agent" here to help Mother Earth and her inhabitants shift to a higher dimension. The astonishing news forever changed his life. He divorced, quit his corporate job, moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, worked as a management-training consultant, and began his search for the tools of transformation in order to fulfill his mission. His health deteriorated for several years, but because of the healing efforts of his Spirit Guides and angels, he fully recovered. During that time, Duane's own psychic abilities and healing powers blossomed.
Answering Spirit's call once more, Duane sojourned to the Hawaiian Islands for three magical years where the transformational tools, for which he had been so passionately seeking, were revealed: the Crystal Triangle and its nine steps to light-body activation.
DIANA STONE - Vancouver, WA
With her brother, Duane Henkle, Diana made a Special Keynote Presentation on the latest research and advances in the Lightbody Activation Process.
Diana brings to her astrological and shamanic work an extensive background of study in psychology, healing and metaphysics. She trained for three years as a Director of Psychodrama, a type of group therapy. She attended the Columbia Institute in Portland, Oregon studying Transactional Analysis and Gestalt Therapy. She was certified in 1982 by Huna Research, Inc. She maintains a practice as a healer/shaman specializing in soul retrieval at a distance and
clearing earth energies. She also is a psychic past life therapist. She works extensively with other healers and counselors coping with the psycho-physiological transformation process.
DR. JOE CRAIG - St. Louis, MO
Born in Hawaii and initiated to Ho'omanaloa Alaka'i, Joe has been a practicing metaphysician for more than twenty years and is the founder of On Purpose Life Works.
RELEASING THE PAST
HUNA – secret, spiritual, concealed. Knowledge or wisdom protected like a treasure.
HAKALAU - The process by which the ancients paid attention. To the extent that one pays attention, one can get what one wants.
The process of learning "state" FOVEAL VISION is the vision we use when functioning in
the "sympathetic nervous system" and is the fight or flight state PERIPHERAL VISION is the vision we use when functioning in the "parasympathetic system" and is the meditative state and the learning state. The more one stays in peripheral vision, the better the retention of the materials presented or, stated another way; the more one is able to learn.

Connecting the inner parts of self with all that surrounds
Functions of the Unconscious Mind:
The unconscious mind stores, organizes, represses unresolved energies, presents memories to conscious mind, runs and preserves the physical body and is the Gateway to Spirit.
If one still has negative emotions about something, then one has not as yet gained the lesson from the experience. The negative emotion is a sore spot that must be addressed.
The unconscious mind is the UNIHIPILI. It is the place of unformed thought forms which attach to the beings of higher light whether negative or positive through AKA Cords.
Energy flows from higher to lower in the sense that of higher concentrations of energy to lower concentrations of energy. Thus, when one builds up Mana in the Unihipili, the higher concentration of energy there can then be easily transmitted to the Aumakua easily.
One method of supporting one's conscious and super conscious minds (Uhane and Aumakua) is to ask the lower conscious mind (Unihipili) if it supports one's magnificence and connectedness to higher self.
One can also support oneself by correcting past negativities with others. Connect through lower consciousness and say: "I forgive you, do you forgive me?"
NEGATIVE ASSOCIATIONS
Associations that are negative and deleterious to one's being may be broken by requesting the assistance of Michael, the Archangel, Defender in Battle.
One can imagine healing guides in the 4 quadrants, rotating at the speed of light above the head. There is a hole in the center of this rotational circle which allows the circle of light to pass down
over the body cutting all the AKA cords. Later, one can reconnect all AKA cords that are desirable to that individual. There was a reference to a Morrnah Simeona at this point and to Doreen Virtue's books on AKA cords.
JOHN LA TOURRETTE - Medford, OR
Known as Speed-Man, John is all business—he won't be happy till you Do The Drills! And he makes sure everyone in the class does them. He doesn't teach theory; he teaches practical application of principles, techniques, drills, exercises, methods. Very entertaining.
ANCIENT AND SECRET TEACHINGS OF THE REAL KAHUNA: HOW & WHAT & WHY
Secrets of the Huna Ha Rite for Making Your Dreams Come True
One must be moving away from something before one can manifest something.
1) Awareness of where you are at
2) Make a decision that you don't want to be there
3) Make a decision as to where you do want to be
Values and beliefs are unconscious. A person can hook-up kinesthetically to find out what they are. That is stand with your feet together and straight and ask yourself a question about a something and your response, swaying forward or back will tell you what that belief is. One can also do muscle testing with the assistance of another.
These are questions to the Unihipili and its belief system.
Mana: A process of breathing that produces Mana, which is the universal life force.
How does one know what one wants or needs? Ask Unihipili.
John refers to one system to align the conscious and unconscious to get congruency. Without congruency, one cannot manifest what one needs or desires. This implies that what one may want consciously, is not what the unconscious wants and more importantly, that the unconscious cannot be forced to want what the conscious wants.
If it tests incorrectly, ask what causes it to test incorrectly.
PHYLLIS W. CORWIN - State College, PA
A true Huna Treasure and beloved Elder, Phyllis has been practicing and teaching Huna for more years than we're allowed to say. She is a spiritual leader and an Honorary Charter Member of the Board of Directors. Her knowledge and experience is extensive.
Dr. Corwin gave good advice in that we should remain connected to our local communities through traditional methods of block parties, ice cream socials, assisting our neighbors when possible. Good advice for us all. She finished by stating that we are all worthwhile.
REV. JAMES VINSON WINGO, DD – Cape Girardeau, MO
When the question arises, "When did you learn about Huna?" Vince just smiles and says, "There was never a time when I did not know about Huna." With more than thirty years of experience under his belt, Vinson is an outstanding, effective teacher of Huna. He teaches Huna workshops throughout the U.S., while continuing to manage the Huna Research organization. His innovations include revealing some of the most sacred ancient Kahuna secrets that his Hawaiian Elders kept under-lock-and-key for him to receive upon on his 40th birthday.
Working without a Net
Vince with Joe Craig ends with a dramatized meditation using the Time Line format for putting the desired future into your reality. This was done by Vince and Joe Craig. The first part was an integration of many the techniques given by other speakers and putting into focus from the standpoint of practicing Huna.
How to Start a Huna Study Group
CHIEF PAUL WHITE EAGLE - Cape Girardeau, MO
STORIES OF THE AHNIYVWIYA
Paul was born 67 winters ago in "the moon of the falling" leaves in a place called by his people "tla-da-tsa-yi" which means "the place of the panther." Paul was trained in the old ways of his people by elder Medicine Men.
He now serves as Chief of his people, the AhNiYvWiYa ("ah-knee-yuh-wee-yah"), which means "the human people." Paul explains "The small band of our people who survived the onslaught of European influence and destruction kept the identification of ourselves by knowing that we, the human people, are only one equal part of this universe. The name by which we identify ourselves holds the secret of the central belief of all that we hold sacred: Balance of harmony within the beauty and power of the sacred colors, where we have been placed. We are only one part of all that there is and are no better or no less than all of the other parts."
His greatest purpose in life is the teaching of his people's ancient culture, keeping alive that which most honors his ancestors.
Chief Paul gave us the true history of his people the Cholacs, or as we know them the Cherokee and the "Trail of Tears" which was handed down to him through an unbroken oral tradition, similar to the way Rev. Wingo received the Hawaiian traditions from before the 1700s.
Chief Paul expresses that "ganela" is the spirit of life and that everything has spirit, even the rocks. This again correlates with the traditions of the ancient Celtic peoples, the Druids, and the Hawaiian Kahuna.
Of greatest significance to me was the fact that tragedy encouraged a people to insulate and consolidate such that their traditions remained intact. This is in opposition to the experience of us European descended peoples who suffered many of the same tragedies of the American Indians in Europe at the hands of the Romans who then brought the Christian religion. The power lust and greed of government and church officials required that they break the traditions of the tribal peoples of Europe. In doing so they denied us our languages and our belief systems. As a result, we are scrambling to remember and to find sources that give us true accounts as to who are people really were and what it was that they really believed. We are having great difficulty reclaiming that knowledge today and find ourselves having to beg humbly that that the very people that our ancestors treated so abjectly are now the ones to whom we must turn for the ancient sacred knowledge we lost.
ED KALEOLANI SPENCER - Chicago, IL
Ed has spent more than 30 years in the health care field. His traditional medical training provides him with a substantial base upon which to build integrated treatments for the people he cares for. He is trained as a Cranial Sacral Therapist, Gestalt Therapist, and in the Ida RoIf method of structural integration.
Ed began his Hawaiian training in 1986 with HRA member Nelita Po`okui Kukuilaakaa Anderson, a Kahuna Ha Ha and Kahuna Lapa`au (kahuna of the ancient healing arts of Hawaii). Nelita taught in the old ways and required one on one teaching to insure his skills. Named Kaleolani, in an Inoa ritual. As a Kahu O Mana, Ed is dedicated to the healing arts of ancient Hawaii. Using the knowledge he has been given, he now brings Hawaii Energetics to others.
RICK and CONNIE VRENIOS - Chicago, IL
Rick and Connie are former students of HRA member Lanakila Brandt, Kahu of the famous City of Refuge on the Big Island, and appeared in his stead. They are co-founders of the Reiki Council.

HENRY KROTOSCHIN - Zurich, Switzerland
Most important is the Huna teaching he has done via the Huna Forschungs-Gesellschaft [Huna Research Institute], affiliated with HRI, as our official representative in German-speaking countries. Henry is a Certified Huna Teacher and Practitioner.
Losing Contact With The Higher Self
Contact with the higher self is the first aim of our existence. Some people are born with it and know it while others born with it don't know that they have it. The rest of us have to work at it.
In Faust II, Goethe said that "We will redeem him, whoever has tried hard and strong". The redemption is contact with the higher self.
Jesus said that you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven unless reborn. This is a reference to contact with the higher self.
If the rain of blessings doesn't come, then someone may be hurt by the prayer request. The prayer request must then be changed. One must be careful before sending the prayer so as not to hurt anyone.
Consciousness writes the lines. Ask the unconsciousness to choose a symbol or picture and then send the picture with mana up the AKA cord.
The connection between the higher self and the lower self can be broken by the inability of the Uhane to produce mana to send to the unconsciousness. The production of mana must not be interrupted.
The production of mana is based on the digestive process. It is formed in the abdominal area.
The production of mana and the connection to the lower self and then the higher self can be hindered by pain and by pain killers, as well as by antibiotics.
During illness the middle self was not able to feel the high self. Are there medicines that don't hinder the connection? What is the effect of natural medicines, homeopathic agents and Bach Flower Remedies? These must be reviewed by experiential analysis.
LOVE YOUR ENEMIES
The words of Yeshua must be explained through the Huna Way. Huna practitioners cannot have enemies. Give your tormentor love and mana. Matthew 5:44
Pray as if you have received it. The target of he who gives love is clear as the receiver can only respond with love and thus the giver is blessed.
The subconscious is always stronger than the conscious self (the Will) said Emile Coue. Send love to living, spiritual and dark entities. Send AKA cords to those you want to effect and love.
Address the Unihipili: "George, please send love to the loved one, to the enemy and to the good spirit." Send energy to vitalize and revitalize the AKA cord. Wrap the gift thought in red and tie it with a gold cord.
Kala or cleansing is important before contact with high self. Unihipili accepts this forgiveness and love without criticism.
Dr. JOE CRAIG - St. Louis, MO
Living Symbology: Talking with the High Self
Huna is the secret wisdom, and is protected treasure.
The feminine is described by a "V"
The masculine is described by an inverted "V"
The integration of these is the masculine and feminine. They really never touch; but exchange energy synergistically.
Joe Craig explains that they are expressions of metaphors. More specifically symbols are pictorial metaphors.
According to Edgar Cayce, a cult is a wisdom or philosophy that went underground to protect people. The knowledge was preserved in prophecy, religious writings, storytelling, mythology, oral traditions, stone monuments, etc.
The religions that took the place of the old wisdoms teach that we are separate from nature and that we have to conquer nature, that it is our god given duty to do so. These philosophies have created all of our problems on earth.
Some of the evidence that we have been visited or come from and have had far greater knowledge than we do now is in our stone monuments.
These stone monuments date way beyond excepted time parameters. The weathering on the body of the sphinx is due to water about 10,000 BC. The portion not weathered is the head which has been continually exposed to the elements. The head is not in proportion to the body. It is much smaller.
The pyramids on the plateau of Giza have never fallen down. There are no paintings inside the pyramids and they were not used for burial.
100 feet below the sphinx is a room for what is presumed to be initiatory purposes. The Japanese found the room by sonar and then they were denied study as this opposes the historical perspectives as to what the sphinx is.
THE NUMBER 22
10 Planets plus 12 signs = 22
In a circle, the letter "T", "A", "R", "O" can be written,
ROTA
TARO
ORAT
TORA
ATOR
These can be read as: The wheel of the tarot speaks the law of Hathor (nature).
The Key to the Wisdom of the Ages by Paul Foster Case
The Universal Waite Deck is the deck used by Mr. Case as being the most ancient rendition of the knowledge and therefore, the most correct.
The higher arcana consist of 22 cards and each correlates to one of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. This was discovered by Eliphas Levi.
Using peripheral vision, meditate on the cards and the symbology should become apparent. The numerology aligns with the symbology of Huna and the Tarot cards.
BILL DUGGER, JR. - Thompsonville, IL
For over thirty years, Bill Dugger has been a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He has an Associate Degree in Electronic Engineers Technology (1969) from Paducah Community College (Kentucky) and is a 1980 graduate of the University of Science and Philosophy. He is certified as a Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistics Programming (NLP) (Chicago, 1989) and is certified by the International Association of Counselors and Therapists.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of Living In Balance in Carbondale, Illinois, and of Huna Research, Inc.
The Three Laws of Life
The Treasures of Stillness
Ghandi said that Americans have everything; but stillness. Stillness slows the basal metabolic rate, heals and relieves pain, promotes synchronicity and allows one to discover oneness with
divinity.
There are 18 sextrillion points of light in our bodies. That is 18 x 1021 or 18,000,000,000,000,000,000.
Guided meditation leads us into this light. There are no voids. There are no empty spaces.

Proof of Reincarnation
> Is reincarnation real or are we picking up on the imprints of
> peaple memories and thinking they're ours?
Aloha Khepra,
Excellent question.
And the real question for me is "how do you test it?"
... and I don't yet know.
The important thing is people DO have "past-life memories" which, when cleared, make a huge improvement in their lives.
So you want to work within your unihipili's belief system.
It's that simple.
So you do what works.
There is no definitive evidence for reincarnation.
I published a paper called "Recycling: A New Theory of Reincarnaton" when I was going for my Master's Degree.
Here's the basic idea ...
We know that every single cell does have "cellular memory" ... and it's obvious that the cells in your body came from "somewhere" ...
... your mother's body at birth ... your DNA ... the food you ear ... the air you breath, etc.
And the odds are that the molecules which make up your current body once made-up another persons body.
That's "recycling!"
So it is possible that some of the memories attached to those molecules could pop-up as if they were your own.
... and it more likely.
Occam's Razor.
The Theory of Reincarnation is a belief system that developed to explain the phenomenon of people remembering things from the lives of deceased persons.
It's a strange phenomenon, deserving an explanation.
But, does a person "reincarnate" ... in toto ... from-lifetime-to-lifetime?
... I can't give an athoratative answer.
But, no one can.
If anyone says they do know, for sure, then run away quickly!
And keep studying!
