The First Kahuna Halau in over 120 years!

Aloha y'all,

If you've been studying the Authentic kahuna Tradition for a couple of years now, you've probably noticed some of the posts relating to "The House of Teave" and the "True Legacy of the Kahuna" and all that sort of thing over the past 18 months.

"House" is only one interpretation of the Hawaiian word Halau ... so you know that "The House of Teave" refers to something other that an actual house.

... it is Halau in every sense of the word.

Way more than just a "school" or a "meeting house" or "filling your house full of friends."

... in fact, we're referring to MORE than simply "an esoteric field of the Temple Ho'omanamana!"

On October 3rd, I got my "final initiation" in preparation for the 2008 Huna World Convention last weekend, where we did establish ... for the very first time in over 120 years ... a complete and authentic Kahuna Halau according to the regular ceremony dating back more than 10,000 years.

So ... not only was it "kind-a-fun" ... and perhaps the greatest opportunity for spiritual evolution up until now ...

... we also achieved the full-circle-of-completion as outlined in the Kumulipo.

And that means things are only going to get better!

It finally hit me!

So many people hold up their noses and snobbily tell you "nobody should charge money for spiritual wisdom" ... for teaching ancient practices, etc.

... all the while they're raking-in fist-fulls of tax-free "donations!"

Well, I have a very important question ... "Says who?"

Think about it!

Because every shaman ... every "medicine man" ... every monk ... every Kahuna always accepted payment in some form ... be it chickens, or eggs, a pie, or a bowl of rice.

"Why?"

Because THAT was the means-of-exchange in the old days!

But you know ... there's more to the story ...

They taught disciples in "the old way" ... what we would call "apprenticeship."

It's common knowledge the Kahuna training took at least 20 years ...

... that's 20 years of "apprenticeship."

That means you worked FOR the Kahuna!

And you worked for him from-dawn-til-dusk ... every day ... for 20 years! The whole time you were learning to ply the tools of your trade.

A FULL TIME JOB!
... and you didn't get paid ... not at all.

Do the math ...

Let's use the lowest-common-denominator ... minimum wage.

The House of Teave
Long ago ... our brother King Kalakaua summoned all of the most accomplished Kahuna Class from throughout the islands to the palace.

High Temple Priests skilled in the arts of divination, philosophers, historians, doctors of spiritual medicine, etc.

The secret knowledge passed down orally in the priesthood through the generations was finally recorded in writing and locked away in the King's palace.

Then ...

On January 17, 1893 ... the day Kalakaua's sister, Queen Liliokalani was dethroned ... drug dealers and smugglers broke in to the palace and burned the former King's filing room.

All the documents were reduced to ashes.

Officially ... "no one knows" how the fire got started ... and it did NOT affect ANY other section of the palace.

Only Nana Mary Julia Glennie Bush survived to preserve the "secret treasure" of the Hamatua strong-hold.

I give thanks to Dad for giving me a copy of that secret manuscript.
