Huna 101: Programming your "inner self"

One Simple Secret to "KNOW" when
Your Inner Self is READY to
ACCEPT your instructions ...

It is called the Automatic Finger Signal. It is your way of determining when your subconscious mind is ready to accept your new instructions.

Relax with your hands resting on your thighs ... palms down. You are very aware of your hands. Feel their weight on your thighs and feel their warmth. Concentrate on this weight. Become as sensitive as possible to a weight difference. Does one hand feel lighter than the other? One hand will feel lighter than the other if you are keenly aware of the slightest difference in sensation.

As soon as one hand feels lighter, concentrate on the lightness of this hand, in fact on ANY feeling or sensation that comes into that hand. Can you feel the transfer of heat from that hand to your leg? Is the hand particularly sensitive to the texture of your clothing?

It is important that once a sensation of lightness or warmth or texture is felt, you concentrate on the sensation. Sometimes one feels a tingling sensation. Whatever sensation you feel in the lighter hand, concentrate on THAT sensation.

Now we are going to focus your concentration even more by centering it on one finger – the index finger.

This index finger is now extremely light and in it we feel the other sensations – texture, warmth, tingling, whatever the light hand felt.

Now there is just one more step and then something is going to happen.

Think of your heavy hand as on one side of an old fashioned scale ... when one side goes down, the other side rises. Your heavy hand is causing the lighter hand to rise. FEEL this inclination to rise in the light hand's index finger. You know that this finger will rise. In fact, you feel it pressing less and less on the leg.

This concentration will actually produce a nerve impulse movement of the finger ... it will slowly lift from the leg. It may take a few seconds for the finger to lift or it may take a number of minutes ... but it WILL lift.

This initial movement of the finger is a signal from your unconscious mind that it is READY to receive your instructions.

PROGRAMMING

Re1ax in a comfortable chair. Concentrate on the light hand, on the index finger, on its rising.

Most people get a very definite rise of the index finger on the first try. Some get just a slight or almost imperceptible rise. Everybody gets a better rise the second time. This means greater contact with your unconscious mind.

The greater the lifting response, the deeper is your relaxed state and the MORE EFFECTIVE your instructions will be.

Even a SLIGHT movement of the index finger is enough to begin.

Keep Learning your Huna!

Huna 101: Ha Breathing

Breath and Breathing:
Key to the Unlimited
Power of Huna
by Rev. James Vinson Wingo, DD

Life is but a series of breaths. Breath is Life. We can live a long time without eating, a couple days without drinking, but life without breath is measured in minutes. Something so essential deserves our attention. Breath is the most important of all the bodily functions, in fact all the other bodily functions depend on breath.

As much as we are dependent on breath for life, so are we largely dependent on correct, healthy breathing habits for continued vitality and freedom from disease.

One of the first things we learn in Huna is that by controlling our breathing we can increase energy and vitality. On the other hand, incorrect, careless breathing leads to decreased vitality and opens us up to disease.

Civilization has changed our manner of breathing. Very few people breath correctly in today's world. The results can be seen in poor posture, contracted chests, stooped shoulders, and the large amount of respiratory disease.

The foundation of health is a healthy bloodstream. Breathing is the way you fully oxygenate the body and thereby stimulate the electrical process of every cell in the body.

Breathing also stimulates the flow of the lymph fluid which contains white blood cells. The lymph system is the body's sewage system. Every cell is surrounded by lymph. We have four times as much lymph fluid than blood! The blood carries oxygen and nutrients to the capillaries which diffuse them into the lymph fluid around each cell. The cells take only what they need and excrete toxins. Dead cells and other toxins must be eliminated by the lymph system, and the lymph system is activated by deep breathing!.

Whereas the blood system has a pump called the heart, the lymph system moves only through deep breathing and muscular movement.

Not only does physical health depend on correct breathing, our mental power, happiness, self-control, clear-sightedness, morals, and spiritual growth are dependent upon breath. Entire schools of Oriental Philosophy have been founded upon the "Science of Breath."

In Huna we practice breathing exercises which allow us to gain control of our bodies and our selves, enabling us to send mana to any organ or area of thought (thought-form) to energize it and thereby strengthen ourselves and others. By controlled breathing we can not only cure disease, but also practically do away with fear, worry, and the baser emotions.

Although breathing is something we do naturally and automatically it is important to examine just how breath functions.

The Mechanics Of Breathing

Breathing is accomplished through the elastic movements of the lungs and the activities of the thoracic cavity in which they are contained. The thorax is the portion of the body between the neck and abdomen. The thoracic cavity is occupied mainly by the heart and lungs. It is bound by the spine, the ribs and their cartilage, the breastbone and by the diaphragm below. It is more than simply the chest.

There are twenty-four ribs, twelve on each side which emerge from the spine. The upper seven pairs are called "true ribs" because they are fastened directly to the breastbone. The lower five pairs are called "floating ribs" because they are not directly attached. The upper two of them are fastened by cartilage to the other ribs and the lower three have free ends.

In respiration the ribs are moved by muscular layers known as the intercostal muscles. The diaphragm separates the thorax from the abdominal cavity.

In breathing the muscles expand the lungs so that a vacuum is created so that air rushes in (obeying that well-known law of physics). The whole process depends on the respiratory muscles. Without the muscles the lungs cannot expand.

So, in essence, the science of breathing relies on the proper control and development of these muscles resulting in the ability to attain the maximum degree of lung expansion and to secure the greatest amount of life-giving properties of air to the system. Proper breathing exercises allow us to efficiently accumulate the maximum amount of mana. This is essential to health and to the practice of Huna.

Categories Of Breathing

Upper Breathing. This is the most common method of breathing in Western society. This is also the worst type of breathing and is the source of many of our problems. One breathing this way elevates the ribs, collarbone and shoulders while drawing the abdomen in. The abdomen pulls up and pushes against the diaphragm, raising it.

In Upper Breathing only the upper part of the chest and lungs are used. This is the smallest area and so only the smallest amount of air enters the lungs. Also, because the diaphragm is being raised, there can be no expansion in that direction. Go back and review the mechanics of breathing. It will become quite obvious that Upper Breathing uses a maximum amount of effort and energy to obtain a minimum amount of benefit.

Upper breathing wastes energy. People who breath this way (most of our modern culture) are weak and unhealthy. Even athletes who should know better tend to breath this way and suffer because of it. Respiratory diseases and vocal problems can be directly traced to this manner of breathing which strains the delicate organs and results in harsh voices. People who breath this way often resort to mouth breathing which increases their problems.

Mid Breathing. This method of breathing is similar to Upper Breathing and only slightly better. In Mid Breathing the diaphragm is pushed up and the abdomen drawn in while the chest is raised somewhat and the chest partially expanded. The results are much the same.

Deep Breathing. This method of breathing is far better than either of the two preceding methods. Deep Breathing is well known among those who recognize the importance of breath in health and meditation. Many systems of breathing have been built around Deep Breathing. Many have benefited and much money has been made on Deep Breathing. It is, however, only a part of proper breathing. Deep Breathing must be understood before we can proceed to Complete Breathing.

You saw that in Upper and Mid Breathing the diaphragm is raised. The diaphragm is the great partition muscle separating the chest from the abdomen and its contents. At rest the diaphragm is like a dome above the abdomen. When it is used, the diaphragm is lowered to press down on the abdomen and force it out.

In Deep Breathing the diaphragm is used and the lungs are able to move more freely. This has led some to tout Deep Breathing as the best method as it is definitely superior to the previous methods.

The problem is that in none of these three methods do the lungs become completely filled with air. Even in Deep Breathing only a portion of the lungs are filled at best. Upper Breathing fills only the upper portion of the lungs. Mid fills only the middle and some of the upper part. Deep Breathing fills only the lower and middle parts.

It should be evident that a method which fills the entire lung space will be of the greatest value in allowing us to absorb the greatest quantity of oxygen and to generate the most mana. The Complete Breath is the best method known.

The "Kahuna Breath"

Complete Breathing. This method of breathing combines all the good points of Upper, Mid, and Deep Breathing while eliminating the objectionable features of each. It brings into play the entire breathing apparatus, every part of the lungs, every air-cell, and every respiratory muscle. The entire respiratory system responds to Complete Breathing and the maximum amount of benefit is derived from the minimum expenditure of energy. The chest cavity expands to its normal limits in all directions and every part of the breathing mechanism performs its natural function.

In Complete Breathing all the respiratory muscles are completely called into play. The other types of breathing use only a portion of these muscles. This means that the space for the lungs to expand increases and the muscles give support to the organs as needed. The diaphragm is under complete control and is able to function properly.

In the Complete Breath the lower ribs are pulled slightly downward by the diaphragm while other muscles hold them in place and the intercostal muscles pull them outward. This combined action increases the mid chest cavity to its maximum capacity. The upper ribs are lifted and forced outward by the intercostal muscles, increasing the capacity of the upper chest to its maximum capacity

The Kahuna "Complete Breathing" Technique

Complete Breathing should not be forced. This is a return to nature. Native people and infants breath this way naturally and that should be our goal. Once you have learned Complete Breathing it is not necessary to completely fill the lungs with every inhalation. This is an exercise for developing healthy habits and to be used several times a day in a controlled manner. With regular practice this manner of breathing will become a habit.

(1) Stand or sit erect. Inhale steadily through the nostrils. Fill the lower part of the lungs first by descending the diaphragm and thereby putting pressure on the lower abdominal organs, pushing the front wall of the abdomen forward. Next fill the middle part of the lungs by expanding the chest, pushing out the lower ribs and the breastbone. Finally fill the upper part of the lungs by protruding the upper part of the chest and thereby lifting the chest and the upper seven pairs of ribs. During this final movement the lower abdomen will be brought in slightly. This movement supports the lungs and helps fill the upper part of the lungs.

This breath is presented as three distinct movements, but the inhalation should be continuous, even, and fluid by expanding the entire chest, from the lowered diaphragm to the highest point of the chest in a uniform movement. Try to achieve an even, rolling action as you practice.

(2) Hold the breath for a few seconds.

(3) Exhale slowly through the mouth. As you do so hold the chest firmly in place, draw the abdomen in a little and lift it up slowly as the air leaves. When exhalation is complete you may relax the chest and abdomen. This requires a little practice at first, but it can easily become automatic.

Practice Complete Breathing in front of a mirror if possible with your hands over your abdomen so that you can feel the all movements.

Rhythm. Once you have the basic structure of Complete Breathing mastered you can begin rhythmic breathing. Try the Ha breath. Ha means four and it means breath. It is also the sound you should make when exhaling during the mana generating stage of the Ha Rite.

The four is divided into a ratio of 1:1:2 for the basic Complete Breath. This means you inhale for a count of one, hold the breath for a count of one and then exhale for a count of two. You hold the breath to allow full oxygenation of the blood and to activate the lymph system and you should take twice as long to exhale because that is when you are eliminating toxins.

It's like Huna people have a reason for doing everything!

Use your heartbeat to establish a natural rhythm. You may want to start inhaling for a count of four beats, hold for four, and then exhale for eight. As you develop you can raise the number of beats for longer, slower breathing. This takes time. I started with a four count and now average an inhalation time of about thirty seconds, holding for thirty, and exhaling for sixty. Trained Yogis can take several minutes for one breath. Your breathing will improve with increased lung capacity and there's no need to overdo it.

The Complete Breath is the foundation for all breathing. It should become your natural way of breathing, though as mentioned before you need not take it to the extreme with every breath. You should become comfortable with the Complete Breath, doing it naturally and evenly before proceeding with the following breathing exercises.

Breathing Exercises

What follows are some Yoga breathing exercises which when combined with Huna and Complete Breathing with contribute to great health, wealth, wisdom, and happiness.

The Kahuna "Cleansing Breath"

This breathing exercise ventilates and cleans the lungs. It stimulates the cells and tones the respiratory organs. You may conclude the other breathing exercises with the Cleansing Breath as it refreshes the entire system. It can be used after speaking or singing to rest the repertory system.

(1) Inhale a Complete Breath.

(2) Hold the breath a few seconds.

(3) Pucker the lips as if your were whistling without swelling the cheeks. Exhale a little air through the small opening with considerable force, stop for a moment (retaining the air), and then exhale a little more. Repeat this exhalation pattern until the air is completely out.

The Cleansing breath can be used any time you are tired. I use this breath any time I have been around smoke or other air pollutants.

The Chanting Breath

This technique can be used by speakers, singers, or anyone to improve their voice. This exercise provides power, control, and clarity. This is to be used only as an exercise and not as a regulate form of breathing.

(1) Inhale a Complete Breath very slowly and steadily taking as much time as possible for inhalation.

(2) Hold the breath a few seconds.

(3) Exhale quickly in one vigorous breath with the mouth wide open. This should be done instantly and your mouth should be wide enough to insert four fingers vertically between the teeth, or as close to this ideal as you can comfortably get.

(4) Rest the lungs with the Cleansing Breath.

The Oxygenizing Breath

This breathing exercise is designed to stimulate the air cells in the lungs. Do not overdo it. You will likely feel dizzy the first few times you do this. If you smoke or have smoked, do this only under supervision because you can pass out from the incredible rush of oxygen which your body is not used to. When I first tried this exercise I was about fourteen, spent hours each day riding (and racing) bicycles, and even I got dizzy the first couple times. Go easy and if you do get dizzy, walk around a little and discontinue the exercise for a while.

(1) Stand erect with your hands on your chest.

(2) Inhale a complete breath very gradually and slowly. As you do, gently tap your chest with the finger tips. Move your hands constantly so as to stimulate every inch of the lungs.

(3) When the lungs are filled, hold the breath and pat the chest with your palms. As you progress you can pat your chest more and more firmly.

(4) Practice the Cleansing Breath.

This exercise is very stimulating to the whole body. Many of the air cells in the lungs become inactive over time from incorrect breathing, smoking, etc. This exercise when done regularly can stimulate those cells back into activity over time. It is a very worthwhile exercise.

Is Huna a Religion?

"What is Huna?"
  • Huna is about miracles, making things happen no matter what.
  • Huna is about self-reliance.
  • Huna is about empowerment, about increasing your spirituality, energy, and your metaphysical healing powers.
  • Huna is about living a hurtless and helpful life.
  • Huna is a powerful and transforming system of practices, teachings, philosophy, energy work, and more.

HUNA™ is an internationally registered trademark of Huna Research, Inc., the organization which coordinates the teaching, research, and practice of this ancient system recovered during over fifty years of research by Max Freedom Long (1890-1971) from the ancient traditions of Hawaii.

Huna contains elements of philosophy, science, and religion.

We often speak of Huna as not in itself a religion, but the truth which lies behind all religions alike. It is a science because it explains spiritual/metaphysical matters not as theological belief, but of direct knowledge obtainable by study and investigation.

It's religious aspect gives Huna "followers" or practitioners a rule of life ... not based on alleged "commands" given to the "chosen" at some remote period in the past, but on plain common sense as indicated by observable facts. The "Divine Will" is expressed in what we know as the laws of Nature.

YOUR RELIGION is what YOU believe ... not what you're told to believe.

An that means ... from a certain viewpoint ... Huna can be practiced as a religion.

There are TWO BIG DIFFERENCES between Huna and what is "typically" called religion...

FIRST ... Huna does not demand belief or even speak of "belief" in the usual sense, because the Huna student either KNOWS a thing or suspends judgmentt about it until they can experience the results until such time as they prove it for themselves.

SECOND ... Huna doesn't endeavor to convert anyone from whatever religion he holds ... it EXPLAINS your religion to you and enables you to see the DEEPER MEANING and PURPOSE than you ever knew before.

Huna principles are not tenets of faith, but are based on direct and repeatable OBSERVATION of what happens.

As my Hawaiian "grandfather" taught ...

Huna 101: Communicating with your igh-Self ... Part I

"Fine-Tuning" your
High-Self communication

A Better Drill-Bit:

There are two kinds of basements in Cape Girardeau ... those that leak and those that are going to leak.

Once upon a time, our basement became the kind that leaks ... so Dad went to install a sump pump. To get the water outside, he had to go through a thick concrete wall.

He spent many hours drilling away at the wall ... going through several drill bits ... only to accomplish a one-inch dent in the wall.

So he drove to the hardware store and he went inside ... and when he was inside he asked for the appropriate expert on tools. And the tool man came to help him.

Dad said, "I need a better drill bit."

And the tool man said, " ... for what purpose?"

So Dad explained the situation ... then he explained what he wanted to accomplish.

And the tool man said ...
" ... you don't want a drill bit ...
... you want a hole ... "

Then the tool man showed him the right tool ... not a drill bit, but the right tool for the job.

So Dad decided to buy that tool and to use it.

And then he went outside the hardware store and drove back home where he lives ... and he used the tool to make a hole in the concrete wall ... and it took only five minutes.

We don't even remember what the tool was called ... even though it worked so well, but it was the right tool for the job.

So ... "Why is this so important?"

This story teaches several Key Huna principles ... on multiple levels.

The "first level" illustrates one Master Key of a successful Ha Rite ... that you have to find out what you really want. And students often have a real struggle with this one for several reasons.

One reason is we're not used to expressing what we really do want.

Another is we often have limiting beliefs ... "blinders" of which we are unaware ... "blinders" that keep us stuck.

In the "Drill Bit" story, Dad was unconsciously limiting his successful outcome by limiting the scope of his solution to the drill bit itself. It can be a very subtle distinction ... but, in a way, he
was "stuck" by his limited belief about HOW to achieve his real goal, which was getting the water outside.

Why Huna "Doesn't Work"

RULE #1 ... if what you're doing IS working ... then "congratulations!"

Keep it up.

Since 1948, one of our key areas of investigation is "how things go wrong." And it's a good thing because, over the years, we've identified a number of common mistakes people make in their Huna prayer-work that sabotages their success.

So if your doing your part and nothing seems to be happening, we can analyze the process to see if there are any little "glitches" that are gumming-up the works.

And the "HOW" glitch is one of the most common.

Example:

People very often try to use Huna to "win the Lottery" ... and they don't win the Lottery.

When I talk to them I always find out there's something else they really want ... something they believe "lots of money" will give them. It's usually some idea of a better lifestyle, getting away from a "dead-end job" ... giving their children a better life ... some higher goal.

When you focus on that higher goal you can begin to realize the reason people pray for winning the Lottery ... instead of something more personal and meaningful ... is they think that's the only way to achieve what they really want.

That's focusing on "HOW to get it" instead of WHAT YOU REALLY WANT.

If you're focused on getting the right drill bit, you can lose sight of the real goal, which is "getting rid of the waste water."

I know of only one Huna Research Associate member in history who's used these techniques and he won the lottery!

He didn't "go after" the lottery, in fact ...

... he ONLY PLAYED IT ONCE!

His goal was to build a school for poor children. He knew he needed one million dollars for the project, so he focused on having the money so the school could be completed.

And he did just what my Dad did ...

He "went inside" ... which means relaxing and focusing "inside" ... on the inner self.

Your unconscious mind ... your "inner self" ... IS your connection to your High Self, and to all things Divine. So by "going inside" and talking to "the person in charge" ... the inner self ... the person in charge of the inner conscious levels, you can ask to speak to the "expert."

The High Self (Aumakua) is your spiritual guide who has access to all the resources you could ever need to accomplish your goal.

And it's by relaxing ... and "going inside" ... that you can better communicate with your inner self to explain your current situation and your desired outcome.

That's exactly how he got his school ... by relaxing, going inside, reviewing the current situation, imagining the desired outcome, and leaving it up to "Higher Intelligence" to bring forth the resources needed ... whatever they may be.

So he relaxed ... reviewed ... imagined ... and "turned the project over" to Higher Intelligence.

And then ...

Later ... either that night or within a few days ... he had a dream in which a series of numbers scrolled across his field of vision. He wrote down the numbers and they looked like lottery numbers, so he bought a ticket with those numbers.

You've probably already imagined what happened next because ... in Huna ... we know we connect with the High Self every night as we sleep. So in that dream state ... when the rational conscious mind was "out of the way" ... the High Self provided a solution.

In his case the solution was very literal, even though it was still highly symbolic and indirect ... because he practiced daily and was in the habit of TAKING NOTICE when he received those "gentle nudges" of guidance from Higher Intelligence.

Sometimes "the tool man" has the higher intelligence we need ... (especially if you're not a housing contractor!) ... and sometimes the message comes to us in our sleep ... and sometimes it's just a "knowing" that comes out-of-the-blue ... many ways.

So your job ... as the conscious mind ... is to gather information.

You're very good at evaluating your current situation and you're good at deciding if you want to make improvements.

In Part Two we'll go over the Four-Step Process on How-to-Do this.

Restoring the Energy of Youth

Kumalae Hooponopono*

You've probably already heard of "aka cords "...

IMAGINE ... all the thousands or millions of aka cords that connect you to everyone, everything you've come in contact with, seen, or thought about ... just like Max Freedom Long described so clearly.

See Huna Psychology for your "aka basics."

How many are attached to "negative" things that suck your mana?

Quote:

>"When I first came upon the meaning of "stickiness,"
>part of the root (pili) meaning of unihipili, the
>kahuna word for the subconscious spirit, I could make
>nothing of it. But, when I had associated the shadowy
>body or aka with the subconscious spirit, and had
>considered the several root meanings of a-ka, I
>discovered that the thing that was "sticky" was the
>shadowy body. It sticks to anything we contact or see
>(even to things we contact by hearing, I am inclined
>to believe). It is like touching fly-paper with a
>finger and, when the finger is pulled away, a long
>fine thread of the adhesive substance is drawn out."
>
>"Absurd as this may sound at first telling, that is
>exactly the way the kahunas found the shadowy body of
>the subconscious worked."
>
>"The idea of an aka thread or cord is closely related
>to the idea of a flow of mana or vital force. The
>root lea means a cord, and also means a vine which
>branches out. The vine is the symbol of mana, as is
>water."

... from The Secret Science Behind Miracles p. 127.

Again ...

"How many are attached to "negative" things that suck your mana?"

Every time you have an interaction with anyone, you become "attached" to them by an aka cord ... even if you never see them again! You can feel their emotions, get their illnesses, and generally be "dragged down" by all these cords.

Imagine yourself at the center of a huge web!

How about if you can "CUT THE CORDS" and then re-connect the ones you CHOOSE ... and from a HIGHER LEVEL?

SET YOURSELF FREE!!!

I wonder what can happen?

Read this report from The Huna Ohana ...

> Here's what happened on my end. At first I didn't
> really feel anything. I thought...oh well. But
> then, as the week progressed, I felt better and
> better, and right now I feel almost like a
> different person than the one who wrote to you on
> Monday. It's hard to believe it hasn't even been
> a week!

Pretty cool.

Yes, you might not FEEL IT RIGHT AWAY ... just imagine trying to fill-up a bathtub that's full of holes.

... the water keeps leaking out.

But, once you repair the leaks, it starts filling up. So ... even though it's already fixed ... it still takes some time to fill up the tub.

That's why it's so important to regularly CUT THE CORDS.

Now ... here's "How-You-Do-It" ...

If you have children, you might want to leave the cords connecting you to those under seven.

OK? ... Now ...

Relax, close your eyes, and imagine all the thousands of aka cords going out from your solar plexus, your head, and all over your body.

You can imagine holding silver or white knives ... or just imagine you have "Edward" Scissor-Hands ... and just imagine cutting all those cords.

Add "sound effects" like "ffffft ffffffft fffft ffffft" as you're cutting the cords ... just imagine
what it would sound like as you're cutting the cords.

You can begin rotating counter-clockwise cutting all the cords ... most will be connected at the solar plexus, but imagine cutting them from all over your body.

Seal off the ends with blue light and bring them (or let them snap back) into your body.

Onward.

"BUT ... What About the People I LOVE!?!"

Good question ...

The IMPORTANT PEOPLE will re-connect. It's VERY common for people who have done this process to receive phone calls from "long lost" loved ones within 72 hours ... and it's pretty cool.

And the "vampires" and the "Pig Pens" ... (remember Pig Pen from The Peanuts cartoons who walked around in a cloud of his own filth, getting all over everything) ...

... if you were still connected, those "Pig Pens" could take your good energy and you could draw in their "dirty energy. "

Imagine sucking that sick, smelly mana (along with the associated thought-forms) through an aka cord hose.

Makes you want to STOP strengthening the connection by focusing on it ...

Makes you want to just STOP ...

Makes you want to CUT THE AKA CORDS RIGHT NOW, doesn't it ... and just GET RID OF THEM.

Because ... having done that ... those "vampires" and "Pig Pens" just sort of STOP and they aren't able to re-connect.

It's like they can't stand to be around you ...
now that YOU ARE SHINING SO BRIGHTLY!"

"Shady characters do prefer the dark" ... do they not?

Notice how, when you fill yourself with LIGHT ... with MANA ... when you fill your space with light-mana-high energy ... "those people" just sort of stop coming around any more.

And you do have to do your Ha Breathing daily, and keep your energies humming, and so on, and so forth.

How much better can you feel?

Go ahead and "find-out!"

All the best!

"Secret teaching" of the in-flight safety flyer makes you a "Superman!"

"14 psychological traps" people
are always using to
manipulate you all-the-time.

Churches use them.

Governments use them.

People use them.

And ... because they're "unconscious" ... many of the individuals who USE THEM against you are NOT even aware of what they're doing!

They're just playing "follow-the-leader."

... following the "conditioned programming" that wasinstalled in their youth by parents, school, culture, etc.

So ... even though people may really have "good intentions" ... the RESULTS are the same.

"You stay trapped!"

And they're "trapped" too.

Now ..

"Here's the GOOD NEWS!"

Those "hidden traps" can only "hold you back" while you're UNAWARE of them!

Once you learn to RECOGNIZE them ... and you consciously DECIDE what programming YOU want YOUR "unconscious computer" to be running FOR YOURSELF ...

... then you are FREE to really be yourself.

Nice!

AND ... as soon as you take your rightful place as"your own boss" ... the mud those "manipulators" sling at you will just "bounce-off like bullets off of SUPERMAN!

"Call it "Ho'oponopono!"

You can do it.

All the "how-to-do-it" is in book #2 of my "Minimum Reading List" in the "Files" section at the Huna Ohana.

... the book that "saved my life!
"So save yourself!" :-)

OK?

It's just like they tell you every time you take a commercial flight!

"Make sure your mask is
secure BEFORE assisting others!"

Why?

Because ... if you're still "trapped," you're no good to anyone else!

Finding the "missing step" that's sabotaging your dreams ... and "how-to-fix-it!"

Here's ONE simple "secret" that
will get-you-going in the right
direction ... the one almost every
"Master Motivator" is leaving-out!

Hey,

Have you ever found yourself "bottoming-out" after striving for your long-term goal?

"It happens, right?"

Sometimes you just feel like "giving up!"

Well ... there IS a simple solution.

And it's pretty easy.

... you only need a carrot!

But it's got to be "the right kind!"

Here's why ...

You already know about "the-carrot-and-the-stick."

Think about "Financial Freedom."

That's a BIG ONE!

You've got bills? ... mortgages? ... credit cards? ...repairs to do? ... etc. etc.

That's "the stick!"

We avoid "the stick" ... and some times it has to get pretty bad to get us moving!

That's OK ... if it "gets you moving!"

So you start moving toward "Financial Freedom" ... because that's a BIG CARROT!

It'll get you started ... but it just can't "keep you going!"

Here's a story ...

I was chatting with a lovely lady on line ... surprise ;-> ... and she was talking about coming to the Huna World Convention this month. She's been struggling to "get on her feet" because she has things she wants to do in her future.

That's great ... but things are "slow."

So I gave her "The Secret of the Immediate Carrot."

"That's the secret!"

Your long-term-goal is that "carrot in the future"you're following.

And ... to keep you going ... you have to have "an immediate carrot" ...

... a smaller goal ... a "reward" ... you can get much sooner along the way.

Because ... if you're always "just trudging along" ...without reward ... it starts wearing you out.

"Here's How-to-Fix-it!"

Find your immediate carrot!

For me ... when I was very successful, but losing motivation ... I put a shiny new Motorcycle out there as my "immediate carrot."

And it really worked!

For her ... coming to the Huna World Convention was an"immediate carrot."

She's a talented and prolific writer ... and she was just "sitting on" piles-and-piles of really good Huna teachings that will really help people

.... so why's she "struggling for money?"

Well ... I explained how to put-it-all-together and publish it so everyone can benefit!

"It took less than 24-hours!"

That "immediate carrot" ... coming to the HWC ... & getting to meet me, of course! ;-> ... got her moving in a way that will keep moving her toward the future goals she's already set-up months from now, years from now, etc.

... and a great new Huna book's coming out THIS WEEK!

So everybody wins!

Now ... what's your "immediate carrot?"

The Secret "Kangaroo Test"

"How to Figure-Out if someone
has a problem ... and if
that 'someone' is YOU!"

I just wanted to point out a DISTINCTION.

On the Huna Ohana group, a post used the word "dim-wit."

... and it almost sparked a riot!

OK ... so "what's the BIG DEAL?"

Well ...

The BIG DEAL is the "effect" on YOU.

Here's the TEST ...

How would you feel if I were to say to you, "You are an invisible kangaroo and you live in a plumb-pudding tree."

Would you be "OFFENDED?"

Probably NOT ...

... you might think, "That's not true," ... or "That's silly."

i.e. ... NO emotional reaction!

So ...

How would you feel if I were to say, "You're a no-good-so-and-so, etc." ... or some other type of "put down."

If you're CENTERED ... and integrated, etc. ... your reaction should be EXACTLY THE SAME!

AND ...

How would you feel if I were to say to you, "I support XYZ political philosophy" ... or I say "poop" ... or "drinking buddies."

Again ... if you're CENTERED, and integrated, etc. ... your reaction should be THE SAME as if I said "kangaroo."

If there IS an EMOTIONAL REACTION ... that's your CUE ... you might just have some "INNER CONFLICT" on which to work.

So ...

"Why am I bringing this up?"

Because ... recently someone said something to me that was so totally stupid that I started getting upset.

I just "couldn't believe" someone would say THAT!

THEN ... the "invisible kangaroo" teaching I learned from a Kahuna many years ago "popped into my mind."

And I said to myself ...

"Well ... there's another project
for me to work on."

Life is so full of "really fun learning experiences" ... is it not?
